Bowen Education was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Manchester, UK. It is a comprehensive Chinese language education and cultural institution listed on Ofsted’s Voluntary Childcare Register and qualified for Tax-Free Childcare government subsidies.

We are committed to providing systematic and professional Chinese language and cultural education to Chinese youth and children of other ethnicities, helping them build confident cultural identities and global perspectives in a multicultural society.

It is this mission that drives us to tirelessly integrate Chinese education into the UK mainstream education system. Through our Chinese language school, we are influencing and inspiring the next generation, helping them understand themselves, connect with their roots, and engage with the world.

Our Story

Our Journey

From a small language school to a comprehensive education group

2018

Foundation

Bowen Chinese School was established in Manchester with the aim of providing quality Chinese education to the local community. In the early days, there were only 30 students and 2 teachers, beginning the journey of Chinese education.

2019

Expansion

Launched Bowen Tuition Centre, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Chinese exam preparation courses. Established partnership with Henan University, China for teacher training and cultural exchange programmes.

2020

Community Programmes

Introduced Chess Club and Badminton Club to promote all-round student development. Began organising rich cultural activities and festival celebrations to strengthen community cohesion.

2021-25

A Wider Range of Programmes

Bowen brings together Mandarin and Cantonese classes, GCSE and A-Level preparation, chess, badminton and community activities. Explore the course pages for current programmes and contact the school for availability.
